So the weather has calmed a little but the sea still resembles hot chocolate and if I'm to believe the satellite images I have seen, that hot chocolate extends as much as 30 miles! Reports from boat owners in the area are just as bad on the few occasions they have managed to get out. As a result the little fishing I have managed has all been on the fresh stuff.
If my cabin fever wasn't bad enough at the moment, I now have that part time Cornishman posting pictures and videos to me from Japan! To be fare all it has done is make me focus on my fishing for the coming year. I am mad keen to get overseas and explore some new fishing ground and hopefully some new species. To be fare I am suffering with a full on case of the green eyed monster but in all honesty I am chuffed to bits that Matt has made the voyage to Japan and is now reaping the benefits. If you haven't seen any of Matt's pictures or write ups yet check out his blog here. I'm just looking forward to a chat over a pint and of course the prezzies Matt ;)
